The Samford Valley hotel offers a variety of settings to suit all tastes and budgets. From small, intimate Birthday parties to extensive wedding receptions, The Samford Valley Hotel will assist in planning your ideal special event. The main function room located at the rear of the hotel next to Krusty’s Playground, has a capacity to hold from 60-100 guests seated (dinner style) or 60-150 standing (cocktail style). In peak trading hours for functions with fewer than 60 guests, this room can still be hired but not exclusively.
Alternatively, for small and medium functions, and NO ROOM HIRE FEE, the HOPS Bar is ideal. Depending on the number of guests, we can provide a sectioned off area inside the HOPS bar (non-smoking) and also include an area for your guests on the verandah which is a designated smoking area. You can also ask to have a pool table included in your function area. The HOPS Bar is perfect if you want versatility and to be amongst the action of The Samford Valley Hotel while still having your own private party!
The Village Garden Bar & Grill is perfect for the ‘no fuss’ function. We can provide dining areas for up to 40 guests, and guests can purchase and pay for their own meals and drinks, or one account and a set price menu can be negotiated. There is NO ROOM HIRE FEE for functions held in The Village Garden Bar & Grill. We have 3 different sit-down Buffet Menus as well as hot and cold savoury cocktail platters available.
